Dennis went out to take care of the dogs this morning and Mason, his male boxer, was dead in his pen with blood coming out of his nose and mouth. No other signs of injury and no swollen abs. Has anyone ever seen this happen? What could have killed him? Could he have been poisoned? And how do you dig a hole to bury a 90 lb dog?!

That's horrible- how old was he. If he was under 8 I bet he was poisoned or got into something. I'm a huge dog lover and it p!ss#s me of when people do that. My Akita was poisoned when I was 14 and I was ready to mess someone up. We found antifreeze in his dog bowl.

He was just barely 5. It's making us sick. But Mason was Dennis' dog more than anyone's so I'm not gonna freak coz he's not taking it very well. There's a neighbor that doesn't like us because we have dogs. I suspect poison.

I can imagine he's not. I would be unhinged if someone did that to jax or josy. That's why they stay indoor 99% of the time, because I know there's alot of people out there that don't like pits. Boxers are sometimes lumped in the same boat unfairly because they are big. I would take him to the vet and see if they can find a cause of death, espeacially if you have other dogs.

That really sucks! People need to get over themselves! A life is a life and no neighbor has any right to tell you what to have and what not to, unless they offer to pay your bills! We have a neighbor that doesnt care for ours but she quickly realized our dog is just as much her watchdog as ours!

Tina did you all find anything else out about your dog? Hope nothing has happened to any others.

Thanks April for checking. It was an aneurysm. The other dogs are ok. There was nothing that we could have done. It really seemed suspicious but it was just an unfortunate thing.
