Nice fish! In the third photo of the mixed group of fish, what's the fish in the top left of the photo? It's colored up like my female mbenji thick lips, but the body shape is a little different.

I don't have a clue. I got it at the ACA auction in Atlanta, and by the time I got home the name was smeared on the bag. I didn't sell it since I couldn't identify it.

Hey jon that fish is a VC 10 also called Placidochromis milomo. i have 2 of them they color up really nice. i believe the 2 i have are both males..... At least thats what it looks like to me.

I think you are close. It is some sort of placidochromis, but the lips seem different. I have had a couple of the VC 10's myself and it is just a bit different, I think it is a Placidochromis johnstoni.
