Congrats. It's 20 gallons more in one tank, but yeh you did have 2 55G's before so I can see you still need room. There's some on CL keep ur eyes open.

I know what you mean. I consider a 75 gallon tank to be a small tank. It's a much nicer tank than a 55 though, you just need another one, and the 125. Then you can get a 180, then a 300....

I have 9 55's. They're very narrow, but I can keep a few fish in each and do some breeding. I kinda wish we'd picked 40 gallon breeders for that now, but these were so cheap I can't complain. The 55s just have a bit of wasted space for Africans. So many of them stay low and in the rocks.

i think i'd like having just one big tank....lol....its so easy to set up another & keep adding...i just dont have time to do all the up keep+ id run outta room! .....so when we find a 125 ill probably re sell this one....id be scared to get anything bigger i think thats why it took so long gettn anything bigger then a 55.....like moving it and stuff id be scared id bump it and it break or get a crack..but i guess they make the big ones with really thick glass or something but still they scare me.....

Nothing wrong with having just one tank. I had just a 300 gallon tank for many years after suffering hobby burn out many years ago. I'd gone crazy and had 40 large aquariums in my fish room - most of my tanks were 75 gallons or larger! It ended up being just too much work for that time in my life. I'm now running 10 tanks with plans for one or two more. I can manage that number for now. I can see myself getting more tanks in the future as my life starts to slow down again.
In my opinion, larger tanks are easier to maintain than several smaller tanks. You just can't have as many different types of fish, which is a problem for me.
