I am so jealous. Not only do you have all those great tanks, you have room to add plenty more (and you know you want to....lol)
Dennis is now the official guru of the concrete block stand.

There's a smaller room next to this one we've slowly been cleaning out. He said he's gonna move all the South Americans in there so he has his own continent. We'll see. Those concrete blocks have been a major plus! And I was skeptical at first. Turned out to be the best thing! It'd be nice to find some lights. The aquarium lights are SO expensive new.

Yes...after beating the high cost of stands, it would be great to come up with an economical way to light a tank and still have it look good. I'm afraid that last part of that equation is the most difficult..there are cheaper lights out there but cheaper lights that make a tank look good is another matter.

It looks really good Angel. I can tell you have been working on it. I know what a pain in the butt it is to move your stuff around.

What is the white stuff between the blocks and the tanks? Styrofoam?

Looks great. Lots of filters. Do you heat each tank, or the entire room?

The white stuff is styrofoam. To help prevent breakage. I won't have all those filters when I buy your system Jon! And so far heat each tank. Most of them haven't been heated for the summer. It's been warm enough. I don't know how to heat it all at once don't have a sump. Would love to tho!

Oh, and moving the stuff around? I just got over walking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame yesterday. We did the job on Saturday and Sunday.

It looks great. You can split the pvc to where it is going over each tank. It should be totally out of the way. As for sumps aka central systems, they can be a blessing and a curse.
