I have a 125 with 7 juvie Burundi fronts (largest male 5", smallest ones around 3"), 1 daffodil, 6 clown loaches, 3 yo yo loaches, 3 syno cats, and 1 bristlenose pleco. The fronts are shy...the smallest ones even get bossed around by the clown loaches.
I was thinking about adding a group of flashy peacocks to add some interest and maybe draw out the fronts a bit more. Maybe a breeding group. I know it's mixing the lakes, but what do you guys think? My husband really likes N. Leleupi, but would they fight with the daffodil? We only have 1 because I was concerned about them breeding and taking over the place.
Any ideas on something we could add, if anything? This is my husband's show tank....the fronts are his babies.

Fronts are schooling fish and a breeding group of leleupi will take over the tank at some point, so that would not be a good idea.
What you have in the tank is plenty. Wait a year or so and you will see what I mean. I would not add to your tank unless you are going to be getting a bigger tank or another tank to move some of the fish as they grow. If that is the case comp's would go very well with the front's.

I agree with Joe, A lot of the leleupi/ daffodil/ brichardi get real aggressive when they spawn and they attack as a family. Comps and calvus are some of my favorites and they make a striking contrast to the fronts. I don't think you would have an issue with the leleupi if you were not breeding them.
