i found some barnicles online and they are from the beach is this safe to put in the aquarium if soaked in bleach for a few days? and the person also said clear coat it? what would you clear coat it with if i did bought it? can anyone help?

I have some large natural barnacles. They've never been treated or coated. My mom had had them for years, so I didn't do anything but put them in my tank. My plecos and shellies love them. If they are straight from the sea, I would probably boil them for 10 min. rather than bleach them.

nevermind i dont know if these barnicles are big enough for shellies he said they are only 3/8 to 1/2 tall what do you guys think
