Too Cute!

Damian, our 2 year old grandson, had picked out a baby betta to replace Gus in his fish tank. He has foam letters that fit together like on the floor and make a floormat of the alphabet. He took off to the kitchen with the letter I. He came back to the living room wet up to his elbow with a wet foam letter I in his hand. He said he had to wash the algae out of his fish tank. He's just about ready to join the club!

We need everyone we can get- he can be a founding member. When he gets older he can be 52 with 50 years of experience in raising fish. You might laugh, but if you ever get the TFH magazine I swear that is how some authors count it.

I think our Charlie's got him beat. He was a month old and staring at the fish, and if he gets taken away from the fry tanks before he's had a good long look he cries. He says pishey. And he pulled up to the fish tank first. 7 1/2 months old and fascinated with cichlids. That's our boys!

My daughter, Alayna, was like that! Took her to aquarium at a little over a year old and left saying "Fish" It was like hearing Da Da all over again!

She's still into fish! She asked some questions at the swap and took some time looking at the fish that were there. She's a keeper!!

Does that mean I have 54 years experience since my brother had fish before I was born and had them until he got married then I started ?

Get the kids interested or our hobby will end at this generation.
