That is BEAUTIFUL! How do the fish like it? And are they really cheap to run ? I went to LED lighting with my disc jockey setup and every one of my venues loves that because it runs on pennies compared to incandescents. It would be the same for fish lighting yes?

The LED's are awesome and they are very cheap to have on. I've got 6 on my 125 I use every now and then and sometimes I leave them on during the day and it gives them a cool blue sheen.

Ok so how about LED lighting for daytime, too? They have LED tubes like you'd find on a car or on a computer case. Also, I saw a YouTube DIY about taking the guts out of a fluorescent fixture and drilling small holes, then sticking LED lights from a string (like Christmas lights) through the holes. I wonder how the LED white light looks for day? And wouldn't it be cool to have the colors change like LEDs do--6 colors on a pattern? But would probably drive the fish crazy.

I think the multi-color would look good. I don't know about flashing.

THe moonlighting looks great. I've got it on my saltwater tank. Did you add the led's to the light strip, or did they come with them.
