If they grow enough in the next few weeks ill be bringing some Ps Perspicax fry, Zebra Long Pelvic fry, Kribensis fry and maybe a few adult Zebra Long Pelvic males. I am just worried about the fish and transport and how long they going to be out of a tank for. Im new to this and what happens if i got to take something back home. That means its going to be in a bag for 6-7 hours

Brian, 6-7 hours in a bag is not anything to get worried about. Fast the fish for a day and don't overcrowd the bags. I will probably bring some Nannochromis Transvestitus and White Calvus to donate to the auction.

No need to use bag buddies. Mike Gibbs (river11) ships angelfish all over the country with no problems. He doesn't use any tranquilizers. Does a 25% water change the day before shipping and fasts the fish. He has shipments that take between one to three days and has had fish survive up to five or six days. Bagged fish mainly die from their own waste polluting the water before anything else (temp, oxygen, stress). I go to fish auctions in St Louis. By the time I get the fish in my tanks, they have been in bags for 10 to 24 hours. If your tank water is good, the fish will be fine. Don't let them overheat. Fill the bag with 1/4 to 1/3 water and air in the rest. If you bring adult cichlids, don't put two in one bag (you might only have one live one before you know it). Bag them individually.

Oh man... this is really tempting! I've really been wanting to setup a Tang tank with Comps and Calvus... but I'm about to move. The swap is going to be about a week or two before I pack up everything and move up to Paducah. I can already tell this swap is going to be very bad for me. LOL! You guys are going to bring all the fish I've been wanting... So Tempting!

Jon can you add the board members as administrators of the page? That way it's not all resting on your shoulders... Thanks!

I may be bringing some Rusty Cichlid fry. Not sure if they will be big enough though.
My parents will be bringing a lot of Acei cichlids and Yellow Lab fry (if they're big enough). Their acei cichlids are really nice; they range in sizes from fry-1".
