I'm planning to get some multies from Glen, but is anyone else planning to bring some? I'm hoping to get a bit of genetic diversity in my colony.

I think I'll bring some trios of full platinum guppies (swallows too) and different types of filters I am no longer using (HOB mainly).

I might donate a few multies to the auction - haven't decided yet (depends on how difficult it becomes to catch them).

Just picked up another 55 tank,stand, and lights for $25! Yea me! A friend of mine's mother bought out a pet store a while back. The stuff is just sitting in a loft. She said I can take all I can carry to get rid of at yard sale prices. Supposed to bring me the first truck load to go through Monday. Second load supposed to be next Saturday. Was told about background rolls, smaller tanks, 2 corner tanks that need resealed. (If no interest; I won't bring. Don't know size but will be cheap), and other tank related equiptment and decorations. Hope this works out. Told her would have to donate items for auction in exchange for sales. ((And another 90 set up for me!)) Hopefully will let you know if it's worth bringing Monday night then again Sat. evening.

My thought is for you to bring as much of that stuff as possible.
I remember when Reagan brought a bunch like that, and sold it all.
You know how us hobbyists are.......if you make us a good deal; we bite.
I would like another corner tank, even if it does need resealing. If the right size and shape to fit my space.
I just think you should consider either listing in detail what you have and ask for specific conversation on items, or just load up and bring it all.

Tell ya what -- if you bring in some multies for auction, I'll bring in a dozen or two empty turbo shells to donate for auction too! -Rick (the armchair aquarist, who has a vested interest in there being lots of multies at the swap since he wants at least one from everyone!) |

Update: Holy Cow!! I only have the first load. Haven't gone through all of it yet. Just skimmed it. Can tell there is several nib glass tops, close to 30ish black plastic tops, rolls of backgrounds, "3D" aquarium backgrounds, BOXES of fake plants,(both plastic and fabric), several small air pumps, LOTS of fake rocks, rebuild kits for a bunch of air pumps, misc. impellers, T8 lights of all flavors. The list goes on. All is/was "New/Old stock" from LFS bought out a few years ago. Will say this; I'm going to have to bring a trailer. Swap is on first floor; right???

Make sure if you are stopping by my place afterward, you bring camera. I will talk about rookie photo theory at swap, but after swap i can give a few tips when you are taking practice pics.
