I saw a waterfall tank set-up on facebook yesterday. It's on the Angelfish Breeders group. Here's the link to the group, but you'll have to scroll down a ways until you get to the waterfall tank: angelfishbreeders@groups.facebook.com. He only shows one view of the set-up, but it looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished product. Thanks for posting and keep the pictures coming fuzzy!

I just checked that tank out. its definitely interesting and I do wish he had more pics. There are some things that I want to do differently than he did for sure so we will see if I can pull it off or not.

What are the dimensions on those 50br tanks? Looking forward to seeing more pics as the project progresses!

very interesting.... I'm quite tempted to setup something like this. I mean I have more than enough tanks lol...
Though If I did it, I'd want to make it bigger and more tanks. For instance take my long (6') 125g... center it with water falls over both ends.. going into 55's (long facing... so 55 - 125 - 55) then take 2 more 55's and turn them sideways so you can see the next water falls.
Believe it or not my living room would fit it nicely. Set it above my sofa's and let it trickle down to sitting level eye view. Add in a "hidden" overflow behind the waterfalls to suck water to the main sump. Probably a have to buld a nice large one... 100g or so. With a main pump pumping back to the 125g tank.
Though If I did this, I totally would want it heavily planted with each tank having a different showcase plant. For a different look in each tank.
For what was housed, the 125g I'd probably do community... have mass breeding... like guppies as feeder fish. Throw in mollies and platies... some swordtails... just have a free for all.
Then on each 55 do a different setup... one with Piranha's... sharks... whatever else I come up with lol. Use the 125 feeder fish. Plus if they go over and into the next tank, it wont matter, lol.
I'm going to sketch this out... draw it up and see how feasible it will be. Cost, materials needed, etc.
I'm just glad where I live... we have no water/sewer/trash bill... :-)

Still cold but I did get my tank I'll be turning into a sump this weekend (Thx Jon). I also ordered the media I am going to be using for a fluidized bed. Its a pretty new product but I have been hearing some great things about it. www.columbiawatergardens.com/Kaldnes_K1_Media_50_Litres_box_p/k150l.htmOh and I got my l.e.d.s, dimmer, color changer, and remote ordered as well. Pictures coming soon

Well between me and my GF we have been sick this entire month. Ill post a video today of the LEDS. I got some scrap sheets of the foam I most likely will be using and I torched a piece to see what I was working with. You basically heat it with a small torch before you paint the concrete on so it has a natural appearance.
